Very closed for business! Will revisit in a couple days, damn these 15's right now. Candied citrus on the nose and under-ripe pineapple on the palate.
24hr Update: Still candied citrus on the nose, but picking up wet mineral notes. Palate is lean, but picking up a touch of sweetness on the finish.
48hr Update: Welcoming light petrol to the nose and nice wet slate to the palate, this party has finally begun! — 7 years ago
A little spritzy when first opened (and a bit too cold), but lovely concentrated fruit aromas and palate. Zingy acid. Lovely stuff. Getting better as it warms a little and opens up. Yum. — 8 years ago

Honey, caramel deliciousness. — 12 years ago
Very aromatic with yellow plums, Mirabelle, apricots in honey... a touch of thyme. Sweet in the nose, initially sweet on the palate but with the acidity shining and balancing everything amazingly. Honey, lemons, a touch of caramel, tea like aftertaste. Great complexity and amazing length.

We came to this after several Grosse Gewachs and I have to say there is something magical about Pradikat wines. I enjoy the dryer styles tremendously but RS adds an element to these wines that highlights their true beauty. Awesome, viscous and old. Just can’t beat it. — 8 years ago
Love this little cheaply. Now my house Riesling! — 8 years ago
Others id smell and taste early on as dill. I get strong prune, but it has been open for an hour or so. It has some slight stringency but overall is quite nice. It has a thick quality and a deep sweetness. — 9 years ago
I would decant this wine. Surprisingly soft (the acid is present but subdued by bigger alcohol and age) but with so much subtlety and depth. Mineral, petrol, yellow apple, lemon, ground ginger. — 10 years ago
Sprightly soft cherry juice. Off-dry but balanced by mid palate tang. Tx for filling post gardening Rx Dr. Loosen

Cool blend from Pfalz...vegetal tones jump out on nose...but palate more restrained..elevated acidity but a very pleasant light lemon peel ..unique blend Pinot blanc/reisling/Sauvignon blanc ...zeee Germans!!! — 6 years ago
Evolved & mature yet still full of fruit & with amazing tension between the lemony acidity and fullness of age. A touch of bitter saltiness adds to the complexity but the mineral purity shines through. An amazing wine. — 7 years ago
Dr. Burklin-Wolf I presume. 2016 vintage. Green apple, citrus, interesting body. I could get a case of this. — 7 years ago
Goes great with cod. — 8 years ago
Dry Riesling on point from my favorite region. A dancing bear - full body and round yet seriously lengthy. I feel the acid stretches this wine. Finish has a slightly bitter (pleasant) note. — 9 years ago
