Well balanced, delightful minerality, slightly toasty notes. Floral, fine mousse. — 5 years ago
Maybe not for the purists but this is stunning and I love it . It’s had 15+ years ageing and has old yeasty nose which is stunning. Not as sweet as you would think especially when paired with desert - almost dry feeling and certainly evident quality of the wine. Not much left on the open market so snap it up and try it while you can. — 6 years ago
Fantastic nose with honey and apple. Very balanced with a Granny Smith acidity. Granny Smith and toffee on the palate. Oaky with vanilla. Matured on oak and in steel vats. A long maturation and low pressure produces a very complex Champagne with fine bubbles. Dosage is 5g/L. 100% Chardonnay from a premier cru village. Really great Champagne and producer. — 8 years ago

DOYARD - purchased direct from the winery - 1995 vintage disgorged 2007 - 12 years in bottle. Good pop of the bottle. Golden, amber hue. Nose is super complex, butterscotch, herbs (dill, anise), and and huge salinity, with some mandarin orange. Absolutely smacking. Palette is huge. Truly expansive body - acid so balanced. These Carmel and tangerine notes happen. The finish is long and tannic. This is a unicorn bottle. Excellent. — 5 years ago
