Pretty full-bodied, fruity notes at the beginning but nice oak finish — 8 years ago
Easy to drink- went well with both a steak and pasta. Seemed well balanced and slightly fruity with minerals — 8 years ago

Hearty red like I love. Full and grapey! — 9 years ago
Full body but light on the palate. Shiny new with a slight chalky spice in the back palate. Front palate is a sour plum skin. Let it breathe. Not expecting this from Long Island. Already planning a day trip. — 10 years ago
Viognier, Rousanne, Riesling, Picpoul Blanc, Malvasia, Albariño, Muscat - was fantastic with Middle Asian fusion chicken and lentils that had as many spices as this wine has genies. @Todd Bostock — 10 years ago
Silky, creamy, buttery Chard. — 11 years ago
Fresh, ripe, smooth Alentejo. Great mix of blaxk and red fruits, with smooth oaky notes on the back. — 12 years ago
Phenomenal wine for the price. Earthy at first then flowery. The perfect wine for a special occasion. 1989 — 7 years ago
Dark fruit, tart tannins, complex. I’d buy a case of this vintage and enjoy with a Cohiba from Havana 🇨🇺 — 7 years ago
Delicious organic Touriga with Tinta Roriz. Rich and intense. — 8 years ago
Luis' top red cuvée from his oldest vines of Brancellao, Caiño Redondo, Caiño Longo and Ferrol. Unlike the "regular" A Torna Dos Pasas, the Escolma is aged in new and used French barriques for 1yr and bottle-aged for another 3 years.
Red and black tart berry fruit, backbone of fine tannins and Atlantic/granite minerality.
This is Spanish wine for Burgundy lovers. Amazing. — 8 years ago

Yummy, mellow fruits at 2009. — 10 years ago
Drinking lovely! This producer holds back their wines until they feel ready to release, this 1980 is a current release! Still showing fruit, leather and "crispness" as the Portuguese would say. — 10 years ago
Peppery flavor is dominant. — 10 years ago
Very decent tasty melot with good fruit and oak characteristics — 11 years ago
Good nose. Spicy flavor. Great with steak — 12 years ago
I’m not a white wine drinker, a very distinct flavor that is very fresh. I really enjoyed this. — 7 years ago
A rich, full-bodied wine. It welcomes you with the deepest, darkest purple you have ever seen, almost black in color. Then, the aroma invistes you with dark blackberry, mulberry and a violet scent to a dense, firm mouthful of fruit along with fine tannins. It almost reminds you of a young Bordeaux. But then, no, as it’s spicy black pepper tingle and more violets and exotic notes come out. What would absolutely stun you is to find out was there is no oak used on this wine. The tannins are silky with time, but, make no mistake, this is a BIG wine. Often, that is achieved with oak. But here, it is just a reflection of the grapes and the touch nature of Alentejo! Unbelievable! — 7 years ago
Muy recomendable, para beber y no parar — 8 years ago

Nose: dried flowers and ripe raspberries / Taste: good mouth feel, not super heavy. Black cherry. Little spice in the finish and moderate tannins grip the back of the mouth. Buy again! — 9 years ago
Refreshing, light, lovely! — 10 years ago
BBQing wine for sure. Crowd pleaser. I've served this multiple times this summer during parties and it's always a hit. — 10 years ago
Unbelievable, fantastic nose, great bouquet. — 10 years ago
