Strong Malbec with peppery touch. Drink again — 9 years ago
The red version. Real nice balance of sweet and bitter with a subtle liquorish note. Really like the Acha vermouths. — 9 years ago
Great bold wine. Smoother than most reds I have had from Argentina. Similar to a spicey Cab with a peppery finish. — 10 years ago
Exquisite. Paired with fig and prosciutto ravioli for an out of body experience ! — 10 years ago

Barnyard, cherries, pie crust, red currant with layers upon layers on the lifted nose. You could just sit and smell this wine and be satisfied. Smokey cedar with juicy red fruits on the palate. Rich and smooth with balance and finesse. Excellent Pinot! — 10 years ago

Next couple are from our Friendsgiving. The idea was to distribute amazing cookbooks to all the friends and choose a course and a pairing. And of course, make the food completely from scratch for everyone at the dinner table.

Cherries and champagne notes on the nose. Delicate and sweet pear and berry palate with clean finish. Lingering dry apple. — 8 years ago
Nice and crisp. — 9 years ago
Exceptional nose, red fruit forward, high quality and dense rich flavors. Mineralality lingering mid pallet. Castello di Amorosa is referred to as the Disneyland of Napa Valley. They have a wine for every price point but not enough attention is paid to their upper end wines. Exceptional 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 9 years ago
Crisp start kind of like cranberry then a nice licorice oaken finish... Unique! — 10 years ago

Sicilian wine from the base of Mount Etna. 95% Nerello Mascalese, 5% Nerello Cappuccio. Soft but chalky, earthy, more low tones, herbaceous but not too much. Medium body, slight rhubarb, but again- not in the way wines can be when they are too young to drink. Really lovely wine. Apparently, the winery is no longer making wine due to lack of interest from the family heirs. — 11 years ago
