Interesting alternative to Cabernet, not that grand and pretty reserved, but much better than any Cabernet in a similar price range. Spicy, earthy tones with medium to full body and low tannins. — 11 years ago

2004 vintage. From Jay. How Coche can produce this quality of wine given that he is not working with a 1er let alone Grand Cru is testament to the wine making ability of this most noble of white wine Domaines. wine gives away little at first. elements of toasty hazelnuts and walnut shells present initially followed by floral tones. the wine is well balances with fine acidity and good minerality for a Puligny. Finish is good in length and satisfying. The wine developed well in the glass and put on more weight with aeration. This beats the pants off of many a well produced 1er Cru single vineyard PM. Another winner from Coche although not the best example of this wine I have had. 93/100. — 11 years ago

Quince, honey, hay, some burnt rubber on the nose. Wonderfully bright acidity to support a full body where all the notes in the nose are translated into a delicious blend, with some pineapple thrown in there too. Long satisfying finish. Alsace style so on the dry side, but not bone dry. Great ageing potential, im sure. — 12 years ago
One of the best Gewurtztraminer I've had, not too syrupy and fresh summer flavor. — 13 years ago
