Fabulously drinkable — 10 years ago
Outstanding and delicious. A ton of fruit balanced by a ton a acidity. Like a party in the glass. Awesome, truly distinctive, and delicious. — 10 years ago
100% Syrah. #vinsurvingt is killing in with the #wine — 10 years ago
NV blanc de blanc ... Such an elegant champagne, bright creamy and perfect mousse — 10 years ago
Described as a oxidized wine, and it definitely was. But had nice tart & dried fruit. — 10 years ago
Cheap and great :-) — 11 years ago
A fair wine that is really fine to drink. — 12 years ago
Basically a Chardonnay. Lightly oak, light and refreshing, very smooth, fruity, easy going, velvety on palette. Goes with seafood. Ok with salmon — 13 years ago
A pale, almost translucent yellow; much more rounder than I expected but phenomenal balance of acidity and fruit. Some interesting herbs with a touch of vanilla here; need to get some more! — 8 years ago
One pointless point than last time. This is the greatest Syrah made in Italy. Hands down. — 9 years ago
2015 Domaine Vallon de Glauges at the Lake Arrowhead cabin. The best thing about this wine was its size and bottle shape, sans aucun doute. The wine itself was fleshy and fruity, and lacking the cut and racy minerals of the best Provence 2015s. That said, we'd never kick it outta bed. And it was frankly gone before the sun even set... — 10 years ago
Xlnt Viognier, honey and crenshaw melon, smooth & rich, ready to drink — 10 years ago
Very smooth. — 10 years ago
What a fantastic Cote du Rhone! It is everything I could ever want in in a Rhone wine. Unfortunately the owner of the wine bar bought every case he could get his hands on. So you have to go to the Plaza Food Court wine bar on Central Park South if you want to sample this ambrosia! Wish this app would let you add a time stamp on here, since I had this back in May. — 10 years ago
Light, balanced, subtle tannins, good summer wine — 10 years ago

Different nose from le Chene. Floral. More rounded on palate nicely balanced. Long complex finish. Good value. JL tasting. — 9 years ago
Balancing France and California well - this shows crispness, acid, and earth on the nose. Palate expresses white peach & grapefruit before a heavy oak finish. Languedoc sourced. Enjoyable and versatile for just $11. — 10 years ago
11/16/2015: Seb, Claire, Lilly, So (chene, chardonnay, mineral) — 10 years ago
Strong stuff this, and the baby Chene Bleu. Mostly Grenache, some Syrah. With that well-balanced sense of oak, a bit of Cola on the palate as well. Fairly hot, 14.5%. But good — 10 years ago
Chene, boisé sans etre trop intense. Bouteille frosté orange. 18$ in Canada (SAQ) — 10 years ago
Hint of apple and oak. Really great. — 11 years ago

The bouquet on the 2016 Lucien Crochet Sancerre Le Chene Marchand showed a beautiful mix of young mango with wet stone, chalk dust, lime zest and hints of dried savory herbs. On the palate, I found rich weighty textures which were perfectly offset by zesty acidity and spice as a cascade of minerals, green apple, with hints of honey, lime and inner floral tones coated the senses. The finish was long as slightly oily textures slowly faded from the palate, leaving a coating of green citrus, with minerals and residual mouthwatering acidity. It's amazing now but I know this will only get better with a few years in the cellar. — 7 years ago
