I could not resist I uncork, Puerto de Santamaria at its finest #sherry #sherrylover #palomino #jerezexiste #jerez#winelovers #wineporn #wine #winetasting #sumiller #gastronomic — 9 years ago
Vino color oro pajizo, poco aporte de color de la barrica, en nariz muy bueno, frutos secos y mostazas. En boca quizás con poco tostado pero rico y equilibrado, fruta y un poquito de acidez. — 10 years ago

Knew nothing about this wine when i bought it and, honestly cant find much about it, at least not in english. Bordeaux meets Rioja in this wild catalan blend of cab, garnacha, tempranillo, and merlot. Dried cherries and plum, leather, briny black olive, and thyme. Full body and rich not grippy tannin. Definitely want to learn more about this DO. — 7 years ago
Powerful with great depth and complexity. Super young too. Delicious Qupé. #qupe #santamaria #biennacido — 10 years ago
Tight complex needs a bit of air, very good quality. At Randy's on a Wednesday evening. — 7 years ago
Really excellent dry white with good structure and complexity. Lemon, earth, minerality, crisp and satisfying on it own or with food. 2015 vintage. — 7 years ago

Bought 2014 from Domestique on 1/28/19 per recommendation in lieu of Catalan grapes. $25. Drank 1/30/19. Acid and tannin galore. Splendid fruit at front and back. Lean not sweet. Astringent. Lower alcohol means structure just a bit off. Ruby red with black meniscus. Again on 4/11/19 with Ron & Jenny. Even better. With chilie. — 5 years ago
