1964... tasted like 2004 — 10 years ago
2009 vintage. Medium ruby - slight copper hue. Strawberry and spice. Some oak here. Quite elegant on the palate but with depth of fruit - post fermentation maceration? Medium plus acidity. Medium minus tannin - soft. This is an approachable, soft and silky wine that gives quite a lot of pleasure. It's not going to blow you away. But it's a delightful wine with fair amount of length. Very youthful. — 10 years ago

I was worried about this but after about an hour it came into its own. More blue cheese, less tobacco than the Pichon Lalande, with nice lingering acidity. — 10 years ago
