Domaine Ponsot. Perfect. — 7 years ago
More like Anjou than Aligote. Nutty & aldyhyde in a nice way. — 7 years ago
#excellent #rully #chardonnay #burgundy has nothing to envy of a #montrachet it is really that good. — 9 years ago
Little fatter than I like, but definitely great quality here! — 9 years ago

Still drinking Bourgone. This time at Radisson Spa with Etienne. Very nice but could do with another 5 or 6 years in the cellar. — 10 years ago
Chardonnay. Clean, brilliant, cheese smell, silky, very persistent — 11 years ago
Simple, elegant burgundy meant for quaffing. — 5 years ago
Following an ‘04 Ponsot this stood out as a sore thumb.
I had double-decanted this for 8 hours and it still wasn’t enough.
Insanely concentrated and almost Rhone-like.
I’ll try to stash away a few bottles for the long haul (read: 20+ years) but honestly don’t think I’ll ever live to see this at peak. — 6 years ago
Sour cherry. Fruit is fading. — 8 years ago
Yes, infanticide... — 9 years ago
If all Burgundy tasted like this, I'd never drink anything else from France. — 9 years ago
Killer tasting at Spectrum last week: Ponsot, 82 Certan de May, Philloponat, Joly, l'Ermite, but this stole the show. Great wine. — 9 years ago

A little bit of French rusticity plus a dash of ripe Pinot adds up to a great value $30 red Burgundy. — 11 years ago
Terrific Savigny. Rich ripe red fruit, plenty of backbone... even this 2015 could use some time in bottle, but with air time it’s delicious now. Almandine with herbs and baking spices, this is the real deal. Love the fancy enclosure ala Ponsot. — 6 years ago
Light on its feet... sublime Pinot. — 7 years ago
Beautiful, a teenager. Only out classed by the Ponsot, different but delicious, much more pure and focused — 9 years ago
Une rareté mais il faut s'incliner devant le talent de Ponsot, un grand vigneron. — 9 years ago

First vintage of Ponsot Montrachet and first bottle opened in the U.S! Tasted on 2.1.13. Bottle with extra security 'Domaine Ponsot' imprint on bottom of the bottle, synthetic cork with name, tracking number and heat exposure tab. Serious about anti counterfeit! Wine had power, & soft honey glow. Hope to taste again in 20 more years but only 388 bottles made. — 11 years ago

Good lord this was as good as the 81 Ponsot Latricieres the night before. Gorgeous texture, beautiful fruit, great length, slight bricking, bravo Michel. Village! Incredible. — 5 years ago
