At this point I wrote in my notes “ getting to the point of sensory overload. Let me tell you that 2016 is a great vintage for Red Burgundy “. A wonderful Clos de la Roche”. Following an ‘04 Ponsot this stood out as a sore thumb.

I had double-decanted this for 8 hours and it still wasn’t enough.
Insanely concentrated and almost Rhone-like.
