2020 vintage. Everything is great these days at Jaboulet (négoce wines and estate wines alike) and this Côte Rôtie is no exception. "Les Jumelles" (French for " twins" ) is a blend of Côte Blonde and Côte Brune. It is a terrific effort in a vintage that maintained impressive freshness in a very hot year. A beautiful nose with red and black fruits and flowers. It has depth and elegance, refined tannins and great length. Abv.14%. — 2 years ago
Picked this up a few months ago from the state store when I saw Louis Dressner. Seems different from the only other fleurie I’ve had. Lots of earth juice with raspberry. — 3 years ago

Light but powerful. Medium straw color. Complex aromas and flavors of green apple, pear, lemon/lime zest, white flowers, freshly baked bread. A slight mineral note on the oaky (quite noticeable) finish. Medium bodied and creamy texture. Crisp acidity. A bit of tension. — 10 months ago
