Saturday afternoon enjoying this Sancerre Pinot Noir Rose beautiful peach in color.

The nose is very expressive in red fruit, lots of strawberries, peach aromatics, vanilla with nice wet river rock.

On the palate I get under ripe strawberry, sour peach with a very prominent minerality.

There is a very long finish, clean and fresh with medium + acidity. A very nice summer rose. — 10 years ago

WoW what a good one ! Mineral and fruity nose at once : lemon, white flowers, a bit of crushed rocks with too. Superb. The palate is well balanced with a sheer acid backbone and some nice texture and grip all along. Lemon is there to play its part. Long finish with lemon and rocks. Red fruit and a certain slick stone forward are what get me to the haunting notes of pastilles: lavender and licorice. The finish goes on. On flipping onnnnn. Pairs INSANELY well with Republique’s zaatar-spiced cauliflower. I thought the mushrooms in cavatelli would be it but no. Taste with the zaatar of the cauliflower. — 7 years ago
