Fantastic bottle-- both fruity and floral. High acidity. — 8 years ago
Huge loring fan. So consistently great. Violets, cherries, vanilla and boysenberry. pardon me for the high score but this wine is right at my palate.

Pardon my filthy fingers. I had just finished gardening when I opened this bad boy at exactly 65 degrees. I am getting cork damage on this one, possibly intentional. Nevertheless, this vintage reminds me of a jar of concord jelly, my favorite actually. As a point in fact, this wine pairs nicely with peanut butter and a large handful of black chocolate. I like this wine a lot and would appreciate if my local wine guy wasn't overtly trying to injure me, by way of cork damage. — 9 years ago
It appeared that I live more togheter with mine wife, than alone :). Here is the bottle nearly as old as we live togheter , could not get any '94 in Reykjavik. Smells like Jerez, from Rose color it become more like an apple juice with years, baked apples on palate, it tastes creamy - the freshnes somehow disapeard with years, leaving just heavy weight - or maybe it was heavy from the beginning - pardon mine noob skills in old champagne field. 59%PN (from GC and 1er C) & 41 Chard. Disgorged in feb 2003. — 9 years ago

Pardon me, but....yassss! 8 snaps up. Drink it for days. — 9 years ago
I read Thor's TN of this Barolo and it was like something that will perfectly fit for tonight's evening. Great bottle indeed. Passed it many times while shopping, and finally tried it. What a beautiful sample of wine craft - have no idea it is new or old style, pardon mine lack of experience in Barolo (I bet on old), its captiving warm smell, balance and sensual taste delivers so much pleasure. Must try. — 9 years ago
Saline, lemon-lime, hint of flint (if you'll pardon the the rhyme), and a lovely savory quality. Elegant mouthfeel, plenty of acids, excellent balance, mostly juicy finish. — 9 years ago

Pardon the tear, people were going crazy for this stuff. — 11 years ago
I beg your pardon DAG but if this wine was a girl she would be hot. Every time I have it I scream with delight. — 7 years ago
I think this may have just dethroned Black Albert in my stout list. Nose of cloves, peat, explosive cocoa and vanilla upfront, with lingering black licorice and Congo-dark chocolate that lasts for a whole 2 minutes easy. Best beer in Belgium so far. — 8 years ago
Very special thing. Smells like Alfredo Maestro's La Cosa/The Thing minus the glue. Nose of celery and buckthorn, somewhat reminiscent of a green smoothie. I kid you not. Palate has more celery, extremely fresh acidity, and some tannins. Great stuff. 50+4+12+15+8=89 — 8 years ago
Ok, after drinking refined cabs and fruity Zinfandels this merlot was a great change of pace. Fresh tobacco, dried cherries, smooth tannins and abundant toasted oak make this a great wine with red meat. Of course I'm having poblano meatballs with rich roasted tomato sauce. It's a great pairing--if you pardon my self aggrandizement. — 9 years ago
Pardon my French. But, fuck yeah! That about sums it up. — 9 years ago
We have not drunk much Sauternes so it's hard to provide a relative evaluation, but the 2009 provides a very nice rich variety of flavours, and those who don't like their dessert wines too sweet will especially enjoy it. However, that being said, and pardon me if you feel the comparison is inappropriate, but our favorite desert wine is a good Canadian ice wine, and neither of feel the Sauternes provides the same level of enjoyment. It's well worth trying both to see which you prefer. — 9 years ago
Love the floral quality of Riff playing off the crisp minerality. Pardon the pun. A Pinot Grigio with personality. — 9 years ago
Pardon the form. Still trying to perfect. — 10 years ago
