Beaune premier cru - montée rouge. 2012. Pinot noir.
Nose of sour cherry, a touch of oak, and another touch that I can't quite describe (turpentine?). The palate is yummy. Cherry, long acid frame, this wine goes a long way. The tannins are lively but not unfriendly and meld quite well with the acidness and fruitiness of the palate. Love it — 8 years ago
Love it. Quite a lot of tartaric deposits, obviously not filtered nor stabilized. #limited production fantastic balance. #whiteburgundy #chardonnay — 8 years ago
Stewed fruit on the nose, but earthy and funky on the palate. This ain't no Beaujolais. — 9 years ago

Lost a quarter bottle when I opened it- but what was left behind was super tasty. If only I could wring my carpet out. — 8 years ago
Brut without any harshness and not overly yeasty. Paired perfectly with fried fish. — 8 years ago
