Loved this the moment I smelled the light sea breeze wafting through a berry patch. Crisp mouth without being tart. There is a mineral flavor, but more of a saline nature (hence the sea breeze) not rocks or river. Fruit is not dominate. This is beautiful and I wish I could drink it at sunrise and sunset. — 9 years ago

Piuze & the Moutard family of Champagne working together. This is a blend of fruit from Chablis & Petit Chablis, unoaked. Nervy tension & fresh acid driven fruit dances across the palate. The nose offers a great mix of citrus zest & floral notes which get deeper than expected at the Bourgogne level. A very good example of the fresh, bright style of Chardonnay. — 8 years ago

We had it fairly chilled. Needs some diligent decanting as there is a prodigious amount of sediment. This wine had a fair amount of new oak on it at fermentation and elevage, so I was expecting that oak to still be an overwhelming mask on the wine. Not at all. There is definitely the presence of oak and a higher alcohol level than what we produce today, but there is still savory finesse in this wine--particularly in the mouthfeel. — 9 years ago

Crisp green apples, pears, white flowers and crushed rocks abound in Adami's 2012 Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Rive del Giardino, a great example of the heights Prosecco can reach in the hands of a diligent producer. (AG)

Our wedding champagne was a Moutard Rosé. Our first anniversary is this!! Way better than the regular non-rosé Moutard. Great choice! — 10 years ago
Good, murky raspberry, bramble fruit mix up on the nose with a diligent touch of saddle leather and elegant farm yard (reminds me of muddy chocolate). In the mouth there are plenty of juicy, ripe red berry fruits plenty of fresh acidity and a spiced red fruit finish — 10 years ago

Old region 200 years ago they used to sell to the royal family if Spain and very popular in the city of Madrid over 65 different DO in Spain continental climate col winters and warm summers. Day 40 nights 20 poor sandy soils this means very good to stress the plants 65 hectares of Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet franc and planted in 1999 problems initially with merlot they work things very diligent in the vineyards. They have high density that makes younger vines yield less naturally. This wine is not Oakes 60% Syrah then merlot and Syrah with pv making up 5%. Pure fruit very fresh and clean very fresh and fruity with soft round tannins very easy to drink. Very good + — 12 years ago
