Palate: brisk tannins with nice astringency, hint of oak (12 months)

Dark red, spicy on the nose. Boysenberry, blueberries, plum, dark chocolate, vanilla, lavender and toasted oak. Bold and juicy with soft finish. Pleasant velvety tannin. — 8 years ago
Juicy , good depth and this review is highly biased by the accompanying Parisian sunset that came with this bottle. m&a — 8 years ago
Lovely dark ruby. Dates and a bit of raisin supported by mint and mineral. Med + body with gentle tannin. Round, but not soft. Awesome. — 8 years ago
Had the 2013 vintage. Great. — 9 years ago
Leather, black cherry, licorice, and some cinnamon on the nose. Medium bodied. Rich impression of fruit on the palate—black cherry and licorice. Some chalky minerality. Nice balance of elements. This bottle has been open for two days now and the depth has, um, deepened...

Um vinho verde português muito agradável — 8 years ago
Succulent notes of smoky plums, marionberries, figs, and camphor with perhaps more ethereal notes of incense, iron, and game. Given the nose, one expects this Langedoc blend of Mourvedre, Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan to be big-boned and brawny on the palate—it comes across as mid-weight, a good thing, I think, tempered by a healthy of hit of spice on the finish, cracked black pepper, followed by an alluring green note, bay leaf, and dried rosemary. 15.0% ABV — 8 years ago
Solid wine, too young when we opened it. — 8 years ago
Nice wine, very warm, viscous mouthfeel, maraschino cherry, spicy oak, chocolate and coffee. — 9 years ago
