Everything you would hope from a chardonnay and more. Beautiful nose of honeydew melon, apple pie, smoke, and fig preserves. The palate was fresh and rich with subtle hints of oak on the core of baked apple and orange zest. Drinking perfectly right now - and probably will stay in this style for another 2-3 years('15-'17). Absolutely stunning and breathtaking example of chardonnay. — 10 years ago
From auction. Incredible, still bursting with red fruit energy and acid. — 6 years ago
Bought at cellar door and drinking this 2011 in 2017. Vibrant straw colour with pleasant bouquet of lemon with a twist of honey. A cleansing mouthfeel and precise but not over-powering lemon taste with a medium length finish. Classy not showy, it is an enjoyable wine. — 8 years ago

Nice premier cru beaune. First time visiting this vineyard and it didn't disappoint.. reminiscent of the beaune-coucherias from Michel gay. Cranberry, red candy, and flowers on the nose.. velvety smooth cherry cola on the palate, pretty rich but with lively balancing acidity that begs for food. On day two, a note of pipe tobacco emerges.. nice pairing for soprasetto. — 9 years ago

The quality of the 2009 vintage comes through here. Very good on day one, even better on day two. Excellent purity of fruit and a stellar and long finish are this wine's hallmarks. Great aging potential. — 9 years ago
To the nose: super toasty, smoky... 10 year old wine. Acid and tart lemony flavors with nice nuttiness — 10 years ago

Solid yet another underwhelming Mersault...a little too light bodied...maybe that’s M? Seems to be a trend. — 6 years ago
