Up front the nose was brioche, which lead to a butter citrus pith. Round, taut, And delightfully “here, there, everywhere”.

Advanced color and oily texture but still very interesting. Tropical fruit like bananas gives this a unique flavor. — 7 months ago
Drank with Tamryn & Mathilde in Montmartre at Boîte aux Lettres. Light refreshing and fruity, but still a bit dry. Very good! — a year ago

Based on this wine, Duché D’Uzes is the Santa Barbara region of California. All notes considered, the peach notes of Grenache Blanc are amazing, and hard to find the equivalent of outside of Santa Barbara (and Paso Robles).
Most definitely has my vote in the $15 range — 5 years ago

2022 Mathilde. This is made from the vineyards of La Fleur Morange that are not classified as Grand Cru Classé. A beautiful wine in its own right that is hard to beat for value for money. — 18 days ago
