Gorgeous light strawberry color. Beautiful red cherries, menthol, some spices, & rose petals. Quite fresh and very light. Complex. Succellent cherries, dry, with medium + acid, some rose petals, and spices. Light body with a gorgeous smooth finish. A great food wine. — 10 years ago

From taste: Lovely fresh and pure flinty nose, crisp apple and smoke, deft touch of toast, great clarity. Nice zesty acids, sprightly and jubilant, very clear apple, pear, lemon and flint. Decent mid-palate, a lightweight style, long riveting finish. Very classy drop! — 11 years ago
2011 vintage. Medium ruby. Quite closed. Floral, red fruit profile. Medium acidity. Medium minus tannins. Soft and gentle. Bit green in parts. Medium plus on finish. Slightly dilute to suggest this has many years of development ahead of it. Decent and elegant. — 11 years ago
Very intense and dark color surprises and stuns. I'm assuming those are grape juices from Morey-St-Denis although I'm not sure. Well structured, tobacco, leather and dark cherry flavors. Like! — 9 years ago

My goodness this was delicious. Popped and poured; consumed over three days. Enjoyable on Day 1 after a few hours of air and through Day 3 as it slowly evolved. Initially very tightly wound. Red plums, earth and wet rocks. So pure and so energetic. Incredible length. This just seems to hang on. After trying this (and their transcendent Clos de la Roche), it’s clear that Hubert and Laurent are wizards. Quality at every level. Bravo. — 8 years ago
