On the palate, great balance of fruit and tannins - tight grain. Herbal character to the fore, black currant and slight mint. Good length. A delicious wine that should show even more in the next few years. With notes of kirsch and black currant, this soft, but complex wine is delicious. It has slight herbaceous undertones that round out the fruit forwardness. Probably one of the better Chat. Du Papes from this vintage. — 11 years ago
