Dry, lovely, bar Isabel — 8 years ago
Slightly muted but very fruity nose full of red raspberry, cherry, plum and blackberry. The deep color deceives the delightfully juicy, fresh and fruity palate. Juicy flavors of black raspberry, red raspberry and black cherry leads to big, fresh acidity with a touch of earthiness and tannin. The finish is long, fruity and a little earthy. — 9 years ago

Had over a great home cooked dinner. Great quality. — 10 years ago
There aren't many wines that make me say "wow!" On the first taste. Black fruit and warm baking spices on the nose with honey/toffee notes. Palate is velvety pleasure with plum, leather, and sweet cappuccino coffee. This is a rich and beautiful wine at a perfect point in its development. — 11 years ago
Lucious dark fruit, with prune-like notes and a lot of maquis herbs. — 11 years ago
A delicate Nebbiolo. Good flavor. — 12 years ago
Another interesting wine. The one thing that I recognized on the nose was the smell of a light, soft blue cheese. Weird but everyone else at the table agreed. Extremely light wine with notes of pear, nectarine, grapefruit. Almost clear in color but the finish was very nice. Super long finish with a slight spice — 7 years ago
Reading the reviews, this appears to be a somewhat divisive wine. But I come down squarely in the fan camp, delicious and surprising. Profound aroma. Not quite at the level of Terroir AlLimit, but about $125 cheaper at Bar Isabel and a fine substitute. — 7 years ago
Almost spicy, full flavor; definitely would buy again

A heavy hitter at 15%, almost new world-ish with big fruit. But smoooove... — 11 years ago
Love this singular white from Isabel Ferrando. Bottled only in magnum! 💯 Clairettes! — 11 years ago
Available at Bar Isabel - and I like it! — 12 years ago
18.5. 2009. Best white in a long while. Has it all. Light gold, v deep nose of white fruits. Perfect balance, with just the right acidity for this Full, rich fruit. Very very long. I still have a few bottles of the 09 (the first vintage) - Mme Ferrando tells me she has none left, even for herself. Mine will last for a long while if I can refrain from drinking them - but I do have following vintages... — 7 years ago
Jaune clair
Very powerfull almost too heavy, but very tasty southern rhone wine — 9 years ago
Killer Zin. 15.5 alcohol bit doesn't drink like it. Lively acidity blackberry, black cherry, bramble, spice character. Well structured! — 11 years ago
Surprising burst of aromatics. Surprising as it was much more retrained last month. I love how wines evolve. The mouth is more pronounced and a slight bit of white pepper picante with boisterous cherry. Lively bit of oak but not too much. Drink up or age. — 11 years ago
