Loved it. Crisp, lightly fruity, pear notes, apple. Excellent for appetizers or first course. Biodynamic. — 6 years ago
17. 2014. Tanzer note spot on. I’d add that it’s very long. And by now, it has blossomed out. No rough edges. A fine Burgundy. — 8 years ago
Surprisingly chardonay-ish, with hints of roussanne and viognier completing the trilogy. Some wood but not overwhelming. — 9 years ago
2011 was delicious: well balanced and fruity. — 10 years ago
Maybe just a tiny bit over aged but delightfully interesting and balanced. I could have drunk all night. — 11 years ago
Extraordinary white Burgundy from Guffens’ Mâconnais-based négociant business Verget, made from Chardonnay grown in Le Corton. Beautiful golden color. Quite rich and evolved, with complex aromas of dried and exotic fruits, chamomile and honeyed notes. Pure, rich, lively, mineral. Incredible freshness even 25 years after the vintage — 4 years ago

Oddly pale yellow color rather close to Rhône wines than Burgundy. On the nose we feel the pot (although I'm not personally a user!) So we have more floral nose than citrus. On the palate a lot of gravity, I would not say it's American style and not Rhône type either it was new to me. But after my first sip I really did not have the reflex to return a second time. Seeing the price I was stunned .... I do not understand anything. — 6 years ago

Still vibrant and fresh with a touch of texture but mineral drive on the finish — 11 years ago

From the northern Macon and from the excellent 2014 vintage for White Burgundy. Initially notes of pineapple juice, a touch of mango and other tropical fruits. Clean unadulterated fruit - this wine doesn’t see any oak. The free run juices are vinified in Guffens horizontal stainless steel tanks. A textured creaminess on the palate which is amazing given the lack of wood - allows the excellent fruit to shine together with mineral overtones. Great value at $41 AUD. Will look for this in the future. — 4 years ago

peaches and sun, very pleasant drinking from a Burgundy producer growing Chardonnay on a small parcel further south — 7 years ago

Victim of the vintage, good initially but flattened out. Decent mineral profile. — 10 years ago
