Chablis-esque, with a nod to Côte d'Or. Pretty nose, crisp and refreshing. This is really nice. — 10 years ago

A rich Gevry-Chambertin from Lucien Boillot. I've had a lot of Pierre's brother, Louis (married to a true Mistress of Wine, Ghislaine Barthod), but this is the first of my Lucien Boillot's made by Pierre. I think I like the quality and price:quality a bit more than the Louis Boillot (his prices have gone up since he left the Rosenthal stable). Fragrant, dark cherry, cranberry, earth, and some leather and mushroom on the nose and palate. Clean, deep red color. — 7 years ago
Unusual wine but delicious. Smells like a sherry and tastes of walnuts — 9 years ago
Le Casot Des Mailloles | Impressive, soulful, delectable grenache noir [Soula 2012] | Another great example of precision for a sans soufre cuvée | Alain Castex & Ghislaine Magnier started their domain in 1995 and now own 5 ha in Banyuls — 10 years ago
