Typical Pinot Noir barnyard on the nose and much more delicate taste of raspberry and minerals than the initial smell would suggest. This should be left alone for a few years to develop — 8 years ago

Well structured...orchard fruit and nutty weight carry through. Emma described it as 'ham-like, which I think is perfect. Roast peanut shells. A well-made balanced expression. I'll take a case. — 9 years ago
2002 Vintage. Clos de Beze. In Calypso Grill, Grand Cayman. Surprisingly good wine menu! This wine has an appealing nose - leather, earth, old oak notes, black ripe fruit profile. Classic Chambertin nose. On the palate, medium plus body and concentration, medium plus prominent tannins - yet to fully integrate leading to drying on the finish. In many ways, excellent. In other ways, slightly out of balance and the drying note detracts. — 8 years ago
