Nice alternative to Champagne. Not as mineral or precise, but delicious nonetheless. — 9 years ago

A delicious, affordable Vinsobres that easily holds its own against wines twice its cost/price point. A great representation of this northernmost aspect of of southern Rhone showing flowers, graphite and spices complimenting a mouthful of cherries unctuously drifting from one's lips to the throat before free falling home (sea, air & land; in my blood/hooyah!)... The pirate/cowboy/Viking returns home😉 — 11 years ago

Drank this at the brewery in Bamburg, Germany on our 2018 Viking Cities of Light River Cruise, and brought this bottle home to drink with my sons — 6 years ago
Great wine- would love to taste in a few years. Plush, ripe, black and red cherry with nice spice undertones and a good amount of soft tannins. Well balanced structure and not as over the top as most paso reds. — 8 years ago

Italian wine from the Viking expedition to Germany — 12 years ago
Stunning. If a wine could be a Viking Warrior this is it. Stoic and intense. Huge nose of intense lime zest and doubly intense oyster minerality. It reeks of minerals. Meyer lemon and lemon candy. Phenomenal nose. Palate is just brilliant. Insane minerality and sweet lime fruit and some sweet Granny Smith Apple as well. So many minerals they appear as sweet. Powerful and structured but also insanely elegant. This is really in a spot. No rush. — 6 years ago

Wow! Where is my pewter stein when I need it? — 9 years ago
Not a rosé, just a massive, balls-out big red that takes no fucking prisoners. 2001 vintage was decanted into something that looked like a Viking sex toy and I was into it. Brilliant wine, a real treat, from La Cave Se Rebiffe in Dijon. It's french, bitches; look that shit up. — 10 years ago
