Stunning. If a wine could be a Viking Warrior this is it. Stoic and intense. Huge nose of intense lime zest and doubly intense oyster minerality. It reeks of minerals. Meyer lemon and lemon candy. Phenomenal nose. Palate is just brilliant. Insane minerality and sweet lime fruit and some sweet Granny Smith Apple as well. So many minerals they appear as sweet. Powerful and structured but also insanely elegant. This is really in a spot. No rush. — 6 years ago

Our second Viking Yurt wine. This Syrah blend was big and robust and exactly what you wanted to drink on a cold mountain in conjunction with short rib and dessert. I think with a few more years it could've developed some serious complexity.
