Dinner with Charles Fournier, export director of Louis Roederer came over for dinner and it was fun to serve some of his family's wines from past vintages. This was plummy, natural and mature- totally different from today's right bank monsters. Lovely with sirloin and potatoes! — 9 years ago

Thanks for the great dinner dad! This Burgundy had the catnip blend of sweet Pinot fruit, expensive cooperage and deep, cool earthiness that you can't get from anything else. Thanks @Charles Curtis for inspiring me to drink more of the "Original Grand Cru's of Burgundy" and thanks Silicon Babylon for letting me see both Tignanello and Insignia being drunk through straws at two different tables! — 11 years ago
First time I have had a late harvest Sancerre. Very unique. I definitely would order again. — 11 years ago
Smells kind of floral? Not super fruity or syrupy. smooth on tip, tingles on the tongue after. Pretty sharp and dry, not full bodied or very round. Tingles on back of throat and sends a kind of wasabi spice up the nasal passage upon swallowing. Charles says very fine tannins. Overall light but flavorful for sipping — 8 years ago

So much fruit from M. Charles Giner at Domaines Saint Andrieu & Boisantin Mas Félix from Montpeyroux! — 11 years ago
It's a light, sweeter white. This one is a little too sweet for my taste, but good for just relaxing, or really good with sweets and fruits. — 11 years ago
