Quite light medium ruby, with wide garnet rim . Quite a lot of spicy darker fruits , with blackberry , dark cherry , very fruit driven still , floral hints . On the palate there good density and bright acidity , quite rounded ripe but gritty tannin , with a quite sweet spiced darker fruit profile , with a touch of anise , earth and dark cherry on the medium length finish . This is drinking well and still showing quite a lot of fruit , quite rounded and ample in style . From now and over the next 5 or so years . — 4 months ago

Quite light straw colour . Quite aromátic , quince , honeydew melon , white flowers . On the palate this is quite focused with green fruits , apple , quince and some chalk dust . There is a touch of creaminess to the mid palate which helps to round out the wine with decent mineral , flinty tinged length . Quite clean and fresh , young but still enjoyable , but will probably imorove over the next 3-5 years and last well a further 5 or so . — 3 months ago
Golden hues, honey and wax and apricot in the nose , lovely and complex on the palate. 2005 vintage on June 2025 — 4 months ago
Great bottle! No 🐞 problem with this one. Quite complex and in a very good way right now. — 8 months ago
It had a weird texture to it and nothing memorable. Another one that is overpriced. — 10 months ago
This 16-year-old Beaujolais is in a beautiful place, red and black fruits, lovely texture (like an older red Burgundy), very nice balance, mature but holding on beautifully. I have 2-3 more bottles of this stood up, this is showing better than the last bottle I opened a month or so ago. — 3 months ago

We drunk three Vougeot over the last two days. A 2014 chateau de la tour, a 2009 le moine and now a 2008! Meo Camuzet.. it only shows how tricky this cuvée is. Too big, too uneven, too many producers, always expensive. This is right in the middle, same fruit as the 2014, same roundness as the 2009. This is an outstanding Vougeot, fresh, fwd fruit and great complexity. — 6 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Pale lemon color with ripe white fruits and wet stone aromas. On the palate flavors of ripe apple and peach, very complex, lively acidity. Long finish ending with mineral and sweet honey character, will short-term age well, tasting great! — 3 months ago
