So rich, balanced, but the amount of oak is a little over-powering. — 8 years ago

A lean Chardonnay base, low in acidity but awesomely balanced and super crispy and clean finish. Fantastic with oysters and sea fruits. — 7 years ago
The nose on this Mersault is intoxicating, it has a wonder wet stone with a hint of lemon zest. The wine on the palate has a wonderful round mouth feel with great balance between minerality & fruit. One more reason to LOVE White Burgundy! — 8 years ago
Tasty mineral & lemon laden palate slap. '07 Burgs keep showing how early vintage ratings can be wrong. — 9 years ago

The nose threw me off, because the palate was bright, mineral, and asked me to take another sip ASAP. — 9 years ago

Lots of character from age but also fresh... from a private stash housed “underneath” the Domaine’s cellar, I am told. — 5 years ago
Delicious white, goes down smooth and has a nice crisp in the end - with nick and Jeanette at empire diner friends and family — 7 years ago

A dusty and oaky nose with undertones of a damp cellar. Not a bad wine but it lacked some structure. It was nice with food but the finish was all over the place. The acid will make you pucker up but only for the briefest moments. — 9 years ago
Beautiful and precise. Totally on the money with perfect balance and years ahead. — 9 years ago

Tasted double blind. Poured a light straw color. Oh. Snap. The nose is so compelling with strong mineral aromas of crushed rock, star fruit, and lime. The palate gets blanketed with bright tropical fruits, lime-ade and minerals...and minerals...and minerals. So much intensity!! Laser focused acid. Fabulous balance. The finish lasts for several minutes...and you love every second of it. It comes across so young. A tremendous wine. — 4 years ago
