Purple red in color, dense. Blueberry blackberry minty smoke and wood notes in nose. Berry cherry smoke notes in mouth (later morphing almost into cola) with some tongue coating astringency in finish. Strawberry and blackberry aftertaste. A little aging might polish the few minor edges remaining in the wine — 8 years ago

Fantastic Bordeaux! Best with Italian wine salami (salami blanco) and similar meat. — 9 years ago
2007 vintage. Vieilles Vignes. Medium brick garnet hue. Herbal, white flower, white pepper, earthy and forest floor. Very attractive nose. On the palate, great balance of fruit and tannins - tight grain. Herbal character to the fore, black currant and slight mint. Good length. Ready to drink now as I think the fruit is starting to dry out. — 10 years ago

Beautifully balanced Bordeaux. Complex, smooth, leather with a nice long finish. — 8 years ago
Juicy Grenache dominate aromas with red raspberry, strawberry and red cherry fruit. The nose has a nice herbal edge with notes of fresh and dried thyme plus a hint of soy. The wine has a plush mouthfeel with silky tannins. There is good acidity to buffer the fruit and a nice sense of minerality. — 8 years ago
