Ripe berries, blue- and strawberries with tannins to supply a lattice for the seductive flavours. Elegant acidity. — 9 years ago
A big and structured wine. Aromas of cherries, roasted coffee and fresh herbs. Broad-shouldered and chewy, with good mid-palate depth and firm tannins - plenty of length and grip on the finish. The wine seems nicely balanced, and should age very well. — 10 years ago
A recco from the local liquor store. Beautiful eggplant purple, and jammy as Hell. Smoky, peppery and loads of black fruit. Must. Get. More. — 10 years ago
Formerly De Meric, beautiful stuff, great mag. — 12 years ago
It's rich and smooth, would recommend for people who want to try Pinot Noir — 8 years ago
Spiced apple and pear dominate the palate upfront with a hint of white peach. Leading into that irresistible minerallity you often get from Loire Valley whites. Lively acidity on the finish keeps you coming back for more!!!! — 9 years ago
This was the second bottle at Fogo de Chao in Atlanta with the Crosses. It was excellent; perfect with steak. Nicely balanced, full-bodied.
Drank it again a month later in Hudson; Jen liked it better than Louis Martini (as did Sara). — 9 years ago
A delicious wine that should show even more in the next few years. With notes of kirsch and black currant, this soft, but complex wine is delicious. It has slight herbaceous undertones that round out the fruit forwardness. Probably one of the better Chat. Du Papes from this vintage. — 10 years ago
