This had more of a softness to its texture and tannins than I've normally found in other Nuits Saint G's..Very approachable. — 10 years ago
Described as a oxidized wine, and it definitely was. But had nice tart & dried fruit. — 11 years ago

Strong stuff this, and the baby Chene Bleu. Mostly Grenache, some Syrah. With that well-balanced sense of oak, a bit of Cola on the palate as well. Fairly hot, 14.5%. But good — 10 years ago
NV blanc de blanc ... Such an elegant champagne, bright creamy and perfect mousse — 10 years ago
Blackberries, blueberries, black plum, raspberries. The fruit is big and lush. Spice; star anise, touch of white pepper. Vanilla, oaky, leathery. Better in 5 years when it's had more time to resolve. Paired well with the filet, polenta with gravy at Ristorante Due Colombe. — 11 years ago
Chene Bleu - 2007 Heloise — 12 years ago

What a fantastic Cote du Rhone! It is everything I could ever want in in a Rhone wine. Unfortunately the owner of the wine bar bought every case he could get his hands on. So you have to go to the Plaza Food Court wine bar on Central Park South if you want to sample this ambrosia! Wish this app would let you add a time stamp on here, since I had this back in May. — 10 years ago
