Surprisingly good after the visual of a very pale rose. More white with a hint of pink. Very smooth for a great Spring afternoon of sipping . — 6 years ago
Milla Cala - the man - offers a floral nose, too, but lighter and with a bit more oak than La Piu Belle. More berries here, with a slightly herbal backbeat on the finish that I found irresistible. The tannins aren’t as forceful, so this is the one if you just want a wine to sip. It has a retail sticker of $39. — 7 years ago
Interesting wine. 12 months in new concrete tanks. Needs air, very interesting flavours. Not your ordinary La Mancha. Organic — 8 years ago

We may or may not have been overlooking Cala Deià when we drank this so our review might be positively influenced but we still very much enjoyed it. — 7 years ago

Muy afrutado, ideal para unas gambas rojas frente al Mediterráneo, en Cala Flores - Cartagena (Spain). — 9 years ago
Another send home. Beautiful, deep bouquet of spicy plum cake, black cherries, and cola, lingering with hints of peppercorn, Cala lilies, and sun-baked Autumn leaves. Velvety with sexy tannins, it glides onto the palate with black currants and creme de cassis, giving way to ripe black cherries and purple plums, and finishing with dark chocolate and licorice. A lovely surprise. — 9 years ago
Last night in Cala Pada - total bliss 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 — 6 years ago
Probably my favorite “cheap” Italian red. Though tannic, well balanced w dark rich fruit, high acidity, and 14% al. Earthy in a great way. Great nose. Long finish. Nice alone. Or drink w meats and/or robust pasta. $18. (One weird item: there is no vintage year on the bottle). — 7 years ago

Fruity like apricots but not too sweet — 8 years ago
I find the bouquet faint and hard to detect, but the taste is wonderfully complex: white peach, grapefruit, orange zest, lemon, and mineral. Very enjoyable. This would probably pair great with ceviche. — 9 years ago
