Superb nose, with excellent balance and length this Clos De La Roche from a not so D'Amour vintage knocked it out of the park! Drank straight from the bottle and would recommend you do likewise to preserve the aromatics — 10 years ago

A pimp at the top of his game, muscular flash, with a macho swagger arrogant enough to be feminine, the potential for violence ephemerally inhabits his edges. He's got the finest ladies in the neighbourhood. — 12 years ago

Heavily reductive, flinty nose. Slightly underripe nectarine, Meyer lemon and white peach fruit with an herbaceous finish suggesting fresh tarragon and toasted hazelnuts. It’s going to be great, just needs to integrate some of the smoky lees and other reductive characteristics. — 6 years ago
