1986 vintage. From 375 ml's. Double decanted and tasted across five separate bottles over the course of 5 hours. Consistently excellent. Oodles of peach and tangerine along with the usual, age appropriate, honeyed/dried fruits flavors. Showing really nicely and should so for the foreseeable future. 3.14.24. — 14 days ago
Caramel, nougat, dried apricot. Rich orange amber color. Tasted side by side with the 2018 and fascinating to see the development of flavor and color. Seems like time is the major ingredient for success here. Tasted with dried mango, caramelized pecans, and Roquefort. — 8 days ago
Pale yellow in color, with a very stone fruit-forward aroma. Strong notes of tropical fruit to the taste, suggesting pineapple and passion fruit. I enjoy that there are no oak notes in this. — 20 hours ago
Racy acidity and really enjoyable. What was lacking was the amount of fruit that screams Chenin. — 21 days ago
The 1994 was initially a bit shy on the nose but after many hours in the decanter, it showed such amazing character. In fact, it shared some characteristics with a lightly peated single malt scotch, with light smoke, marmalade, honey, golden raspberry and wet stone. More of its character was unlocked with food. In this case, monkfish, sweet potato, leek, and winter truffle. Drink now through 2034+ — 11 days ago
What a special treat!!! So enthralled by the moment that I forgot to take a photo with the dessert last night. 😜 This wine was stunning! Layered, complex, balanced. Pronounced and concentrated notes of dried apricot, peach preserves, marmalade, orange zest, Meyer lemon peel, citrus blossom, gardenia, cinnamon, cardamom, saffron, lavender honey, and beeswax. It coated the palate with a lasting finish. Again, such an absolute treat!! — 18 days ago

Just love the piercing acidity of these Huet wines, yellow chamomile flowers, hey and the precision of the whole thing together. — 4 days ago
