Perfect amount of sweetness, fresh, slight funk — 4 years ago
Simple, pure fruit. Blood orange, clove and cinnamon on the nose. Smooth on the palate. Very easy to drink with bright red fruit and a well balanced acidity. — 4 years ago

This was a monster out of the gate and held its own. Really impressed. Shows age but not softness. Elegant, open, beeswaxy, beautiful — 9 years ago
Surprisingly light. It starts with a floral overlay - it's there then dissipates into a light finish and then gone. Any easy drink — 10 years ago
This was Minute Maid lemonade mix, violets, and the smell of freshly sanded wood. Really fine acidity and surprising depth. I could sniff these for hours. I kinda did. I think @Carla Hine thought I was weird for doing so. — 2 years ago
2016 is big and tart and “tasty” right now. Might could calm down a little with more time. — 4 years ago
Tschida the 🐐back it again. Straight juice. — 5 years ago
Dark berry, a bit of funk, and some heat on the nose. Austere berries, a jammy mid palate, and an earthy, lingering finish. All about burgundy. — 6 years ago
Real good especially considering the weak vintage. — 7 years ago

We all have that experience that we would love to undergo again, sans the memory, afresh: my first taste of peaty Scotch; the magnificent atmosphere of a Souls game; one’s first orgasm with a loved one; or, encountering a truly great, mature, Burgundy. Wipe the slate clean, let us start again; I’m sure that’s how we all clamor. But all that’s left is to forge on, in search of higher highs and the brighter lights. Nose: starts off tight, with dried, tart raspberries and strawberries, opens up to earth, oak, vanilla later, without overwhelming the fruit. Even a bit of perfumed peaches. Palate: layered light plums, juicy mid-ripe strawberries, gentle and super-silky tannins, extremely luscious mouthfeel. Finish: long, notes of stewed tea, recurrent umami and minerals. Puts the LONG in prolonged. Oh my. Oh. — 6 years ago
Great with citrus and garlic — 8 years ago
