Highly recommended by sommelier to go with sole. Very smooth, citrus notes, — a year ago
Having this after much older and nobler wines made for a jarring experience, but after this stretched out it ended up being beautiful. I have less experience with Chassagne and sometimes find the texture to be less my speed, but I really like this producer. — 7 years ago
very intense w great intensity. wood has been completely integrated and for my palate in a great place. acidity w fruit. loved it. — 8 years ago

"Slow Decanted" this white burgundy with the Vinloq System
DAY 1
👃Lemon/underripe pineapple with stony minerals/black pepper. Vivid
👅Glorious minerality from start to finish.
Lemony fruit takes a back seat to the minerality but there is plenty to provide balance. Great structure, very nice acidity, and a slightly oily texture. All bright and crisp
The remaining burgundy was Slow Decanted in my refrigerator
DAY 10
👃Minerals lead on the vivid nose with lemons in the background. Less flinty minerality than day 1
👅Lemon fruit followed by minerality coming on at the black pepper finish. Structure, acidity, and oily texture continue. Concentrated. Classy and well put together
The 2014 Morgeot Les Fairendes is going strong and was powerful and refined on DAYS 1 and 10.
No reason this cannot continue to improve based on the great overall balance

The perfect white burg vintage! Love it particularly for PYCM. 2017 Caillerets is electric, so defined and expressive, wafting layers of matchstick, spice-tinged yellow fruit, hazelnuts and white flowers. The palate is chiseled, voluminous and concentrated with incredible purity, and a long chalky mineral inflicted finale. It’s still young, but in such a great spot! — 9 months ago

Tasted blind. Medium gold color. Musty nose. Notes of lemon, earth, river stones and some honeysuckle. Tight wine. Needed air to expand and gain some complexity. Developed that Ramonet mint characteristic. Great showing but limited in its ability to deliver the full package. Guessed 93 Ramonet Ruchottes. — 7 years ago
Solid. Amazing texture, less powerful than I expected. — 10 years ago
Ticked all the boxes - delightful balance of fruit. oak and "pebbles" — 10 years ago
A little round around the edges but acidity still hanging in there. Makes me wonder how much longer this venerable old lady will last — 11 years ago

One of the best wines I’ve had in years and an amazing example of Ramonet Monty. Somm called it “electric.” — 7 months ago
