Very nice. Long finish. Crisp acidity. Costco. $14.99. Worked well with harder pungent sheep cheese and caprese and curried pasta. Would go well with most things due to acidity and citrus notes. Grapefruit overtones. B — 11 years ago

Oh my goodness. I am thrilled that I held onto this incredible #vouvray - if you have this #LoireValley gem, I suggest that you drink it now cause it is drinking beautifully! Sweet ripened pear, orange blossom, apple and lime with hints of smoke and a bit of nuttiness. A lush, silky, smooth mouthfeel bursts mid-palate with vibrant acidity that melds into chalky minerality and a lovely, balanced finish. I'm drinking it with this farm to fork rustic creamy angel hair pasta made with a blended sauce of honey chèvre, olive oil, pepper, toasted walnuts, loads of arugula and chives. The rustic-ness of the pasta with the nutty, chalky minerality of the wine is heavenly. — 8 years ago
