After lunch we headed to the winecaller of Bersan. Must be one of the most beautiful in France! Go there if you have a chance to visit. We tasted several pinot's from kimmeridgean clay soil. Well structured reds. This one is the basic cuvée. Aged in old wooden barrels. Rich in red fruit, easygoing on the palate. — 11 years ago
Hauntingly delicious. Slightly sweet and great with cheese. — 12 years ago
Jackie
Very bright clear red. Cherry. Minerality/gravel. Burnt caramel at first sniff then turns ashy/smoky, then becomes herbal and vegetal like spinach and dark leafy greens. Aromas develop and change the more you smell. Medium light body. Tasted this at vin de Terre wine tasting in Nice, France. — 10 years ago
