Still very fresh at 16 years. Not bad for an appellation with no grand cru vineyards. — 8 years ago

2011 Domaine Bernand Moreau et Fils 1er Cru La Cardeuse Chassagne-Montrachet Monopole - Very fresh nose of fresh-picked cherries, plums, hints of cocoa, fresh-picked mint, and subtle hints of cola and white pepper. Juicy with the fresh-picked cherries, fresh pomegranates, and hints of orange pith, gushing on the mid-palate with cranberries and blueberries, finishing with cocoa, light sandalwood, and peppercorn. Medium Tannic structure. — 9 years ago

Pretty darn good. Tremendous length, nice acid balance, and no sign of premox. This could keep going--will plan to sit on the rest of my bottles — 8 years ago

wow. Great nose, great palate,
super wine. Young but drinking well and has a long future. Blue fruits, baby Musigny or Bonnes Mares, I like it very much. — 8 years ago
