Mild, dusty berry fruit. Licorice root. Smooth and of the place. Ahhh...Burgundy. — 8 years ago
Ready for the cellat, but hard to resist already.
The nose was dark and alluring, showing ripe, crushed raspberry, cherry, mulling spices, hints of ripe apple, sweet herbs and minerals. On the palate, I found soft, silky textures with a bump of lively acidity, which added energy to it’s concentrate red fruit and hints of spice. It finished with a coating of red berry, crunchy minerals and inner floral tones. The Millandes is wonderfully balanced, should age well, and is very easy to like. #arlaud — 8 years ago
I just like Burgundy in general and I didn't feel like doing any sort of deeper evaluation because this was drank at the end of a shift. But I will say: fruit, finesse, beautiful weight and balance. A real treat. — 10 years ago

Off the charts! Man do I love back dated wines. Christee's birthday wine. — 12 years ago
Generally unlike any negative stereotype of ‘04 burg. Excellent, particularly right out of the gate — 7 years ago
Olive brine, leather, boysenberries, wet forest floor, garrigue, bramble, redcurrant jam. With medium body, mellow acidity, subtle prickly tannins, long finish. Really delicious. — 8 years ago
After about an hour decant this was drinking really well. Loved the minerals and the complexity of fruits and earth. — 8 years ago
Lots of secondary and tertiary notes on this one vs the Arlaud. Sous bois, some tobacco (bitterness even), charred wood. Good fruit but not as pure or concentrated. — 9 years ago
Bright fruit and a solid earthiness starting to come out. Needs time but drinking well now. — 9 years ago
Gift from another table. Interesting, sappy, cherry + currants, soft tannins. Very drinkable! — 10 years ago
Mature strawberry jams with hints of truffle and mints. Sweet and silky tannins and lengthy finishes. Excellent wines with drink abilities from 2015-2025... — 11 years ago
Wish all b-rouge would taste this good. Always loved this domaine. — 12 years ago
Il y a des vins dont nous avons malheureusement qu'une bouteille. Une orpholine. On aurait du acheter une caisse au lieu d'un exemplaire. Quel beau vin. Fruité et equilibré à souhait. Ce vin est un chef d'oeuvre. — 12 years ago
Still young and pretty closed. Not impressed — 8 years ago
for the #Burgundy fiends interested, the consensus winner of this #Chambertin #bacchanal (#Dujac, #Rousseau, #Trapet, #Arlaud, #Roty, '05 & '09) was the only NON Grand Cru: red cherry, mint, delicate yet deeply flavorful '05 Armand Rousseau Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos St. Jacques - #Burgundy #DrinkLikeABillionaire — 9 years ago
A pretty stunning reminder of (stemmish) Chambolle purity. (Thanks to @Carlo Mondavi for sharing!) — 10 years ago

Ceccherini Cristiano
The darker knight
The fruit spectrum is more in the blueberry and the dark cherry, lots of complexity behind
A great example of a MSD 1erCru
