It’s interesting to compare to Huet, though didn’t have them side by side. Chidaine kind of inhabits the mouth & palate, as if taking up residence: it’s so full & voluptuous.vibrating golden rod color, sunflowers. Waxy white & yellow stone fruits, with echoes of minerality. The fruit is dominant in its favor, I believe, but the half life could be so long can imagine a glorious tertiary & mineral future. I just can’t keep my paws off them long enough. — 8 months ago

This, on the other hand, has no VA issues, just an insane variety of aromas and flavors. Barnyardy funk, spices (cinnamon even?), along with what I swear comes off as garlic to me. I'd like a bit more body though, and it seems pretty tannic still. But at taste the suppleness of the fabric immediately betrays it and tells you straightforwardly about Gamay, the better to invite you to even more festivities.
