A good alternative to champagne — 7 years ago
2013 vintage. First time ever that I taste this wine. Wine was closed and showed little. High upfront minerality and pleasant acidity. Dropped a considerable amount of tannins. Backward fruit and quite a good burn. Need to get a vertical on this. — 7 years ago

One of the memorable wines in our obscure whites tasting last night. Just off dry and a saline minerality. — 10 years ago
We brought this one to Travis's "large format" party. Really nice, classic Italian style. — 11 years ago
Lots of flavor! — 2 years ago
And this is a real surprise. The wine is fresh with very elegant citrus finish. And an apple, a lime and some wet stone note. Great with a cheesecake. — 5 years ago
— 5 years ago
Lots of red fruit and white pepper. — 7 years ago
Very drinkable. I spent a considerable time in Calabria near where this wine is produced. It is very typical for the region, soft but very flavorful. — 7 years ago
Love this. Tart and flowery maybe? — 9 years ago

Love their dogliani dolcettos, but this is the first time I've had their Barolo. #Viasimports #gangster — 10 years ago
Darker colour than the 2018 Langhe Nebbiolo tried earlier in the week. A little more rustic and less expressive on the palate but remains true to Piedemont with rose and cherry flavours and appealing texture. New grape variety for me which is interesting. Lower price point so accessible entry to the Rinaldi style which I’m currently thinking is similar to Bartolo but a less little less savoury. — 3 years ago
After a long day of changing diapers this wine really hits the spot. Now I am conditioned like Pavlov's dog to think of poop everytime I smell it. Fantastic! — 5 years ago
80% Nebbiolo, 15% Vespolina & 5% Croatina
Color not of a wine of only 5 years...deep yet translucent ruby, brown edges, stunning.
Nose, I'm in love! If there was such a thing as a cherry with rose petal that was actually a rock and you could eat it without losing all your teeth or you're a Rock Biter, this is that wine!
Palate...cherry, cherry and did I mention cherry? Oh Nebbiolo how I love thee. Baking spice, anise, oh the palate is continually changing, I'm confused and over joyed, god damn life is complicated, or is it easy?
Paired this bottle with 4+ hour, slow/low grilled spare ribs and Brahms 7th Symphony, amazballs as my buddy would say!

— 7 years ago
Wow. Takes me back to my Italian days. Such a combination of flavor and drinkability. Rich yet light. Blackberry and citrus peel. Tingle on the tongue. Would pair with anything from the grill or brick oven pizza. — 9 years ago
#cavallotto chardonnay. My friend swears it drink like a grand Cru burgundy. It's good but not sure if I will go that far. Hard to find a great #italianchardonnay — 9 years ago
