One of my favourite discoveries from Riesling Downunder and I couldn't wait to drink it with friends. Beautiful balance. Rheinhessen generosity, defined peach and nectarine flavours, bit of glaze, soft and correct acidity, breadth and focus. Complete. I love this wine. — 10 years ago
One of my favorite new Rhône discoveries. Rich, brambley, and round. The price for value is astounding! — 10 years ago
One of the great discoveries in Gevrey Chambertin. Even young it drinks well. Typical cherry and spice but very elegant with excellent balance even for a 2013. Needs at least 3 more years to really open. Cool climate vintage ~ typically great Burgundy. — 10 years ago
One of the best discoveries. Goes well with almost anything. Nice finish. — 11 years ago
One of my favorite discoveries of last year: the balanced sweetness from a combination of passilleraged, botrytized and fully ripe grapes makes this chenin blanc very versatile. — 12 years ago
One of my favorite red blend discoveries at Lot 18. Fresh and inviting. Very easy to over drink 😎 — 10 years ago

Amazing merlot. — 12 years ago
One of my top five CA Pinot Noir discoveries of 2012. — 12 years ago
markus gould
you better have this vinery on your screen! one of my personal discoveries at vievinum 2014. super likeable winemakers (each of them in a bread-and-butter job with big names and at their own little estate as well).
homeplay. one of my favourite blaufränkisch!
for me comparable look and feel to prieler's "goldberg", which is a BIG yardstick! elegant, cool type with complex palate and just the right arc of suspense. makes me smile ~~
so i correct my entry line:
you better have this vinery in your cellar!
