A superb scent of mountain flowers supports a sumptuous, yet acidic, mouthfeel of golden raisins, herbs, and minerals. This is a serious Riesling...do yourself a favor and drink it by itself. While best at correct temperature, it still satisfies at room temp. Wonderful! — 9 years ago
Nose is of pears. Carbonation is good. Great flavor of pears and white fruit. Tasty. — 9 years ago
Really killer juice. Bone dry, lean, mineral and crazy focused. Not as ripe as I usually expect from Alsace. — 10 years ago
2004 Dirler Cade Riesling, vendange tardive. Strong oily nose; apricot and honeysuckle merge on palate. Mmmm. — 10 years ago

Tasty & delicious - the nose alone makes me happy! — 11 years ago
Wow, pretty cool wine. Dry and slightly savory with spring flowers and honeydew notes. Seemed pretty precise while still having character. I think it would be a good addition to the Alcasian section. (After Botani, I think it is our only other dry Muscat?) — 12 years ago
Salty, high minerality, citrus, high acidity. Great w/ fried chicken. Cuts thru fat. — 13 years ago
Enjoyed with Moroccan chicken. Only $23 “ ...the residual sugar here adds texture and weight but is cleaned up quickly by a racy wave of acidity.” - Ian Cauble — 8 years ago
— 9 years ago
Waw this has everything. A lot of tea three oil. — 10 years ago
Really fantastic, earthy and herbaceous — 10 years ago

Fantastic example of Alsace Gewürztraminer. Rich and flinty on the nose with hints of ripe apricot. Notes of sweetness are countered by luscious richness and acidity with lots of stone and mineral. Long mineraly finish that lasts and lasts. — 11 years ago
Great for making dinne — 12 years ago
Lovely peach and stone fruit and coiled rs — 8 years ago
Lychee, candied peach, white flowers, lemon zest, and ginger. Heavy mouthfeel could come across as almost syrupy if not served at proper temperature (cold.) Very traditional, good wine. — 8 years ago
Great nose! Fruity. Flavor is fruity and slightly mineral. Very tasty and not too acidic. — 9 years ago
A perfect accompaniment for halibut and soft shell crab. Great birthday wine. — 9 years ago
Honey. Dark candy. — 10 years ago
A fine, lean and quiet example of this rare breed. — 11 years ago
Solid floral. I say sweet- I am told that's not a thing... It's "off-dry" — 11 years ago
I could drink this wine every day, it has all the concentrated dried fruit and long pallet. Wow- love this with Stilton blue. — 11 years ago
