This is not a merlot blend. It is Cornalin, Diolinoir, and Syrah. Loads of tar and smoke, on the nose and in the taste. Heavy Syrah in the blend. Very smooth. Mid length finish. — 6 years ago
Fun little Swiss rosé. Pinot, Gamay, and Fendant. A little herb and dark fruit on the nose. Similar in the mouth with a cool bitterness. Nice acid. — 9 years ago

Light, with red and dark fruit and spice, and a tabacco flavour. Complex and exquisite. A great Swiss wine. — 10 years ago

A very different proposal of red blend from Switzerland containing Pinot Noir, Syrah, Humagne Rouge, Diolinoir and Gamaret... a generous taste not complex, not fruity but a kind woody. Humble tones! — 7 years ago
Anise, charcoal. Varietal we don't get in the US — 8 years ago
2012 vintage - we had this Swiss wine from the Lavaux last night with grilled sausages. The spicy gaminess of the Gamaret - Diolinoir blend went nicely with the meal. — 10 years ago
