VERY good Cab. I really enjoy the taste of this one. Oak and cherry hints are delicious! β 6 years ago
On the improve perhaps? Really lovely. Acid ingrained with other phenolic and textural elements. Fine yet generous in flavour. Ripe stone fruit and the kernel. First class. ππ½ππ½ππ½ β 7 years ago

Slight after taste but very satisfactory! β 10 years ago
Quite dark colored. Young nose with fruits, spices, fresh grass and strength can be felt. On the palate itβs balanced between the fruit flavors and the oak well integrated by the way, long finish and no heaviness. Excellent (91) β 11 years ago
Enjoyed this wine with a dry aged Delmonico cooked on the grill, served with Hoppin' John, and zucchini and tomatoes from our garden. The intense berry fruit in this Cab and its moderate acidity and mild tannins were a great match for this menu. β 11 years ago

Classic Napa...delicious β 5 years ago
Finally getting around to posting wines from my annual Napa trip from two weeks ago. Always goes by quick! Lots of fun new stops this year.
Theorem was one of our highlights last year, so we made sure a return visit was lined up this year. Base of Diamond Mtn with one of the most beautiful properties Iβve seen. Over the last 12 months, theyβve added a couple new wines (with more to come from Moon Mountain). TRB is the winemaker.
In the running for red wine of the trip. When visiting last year, I preferred the β14 (ripe, balanced, savory) over the β15 (more acidity, touch lighter, high toned)...this β13 takes the best of each and marries them. This is a classic high end TRB Cabernet from a stellar vintage. Truffles raspberries, candied black cherries, cocoa dusted mixed berry pie and graphite aromatics accompanied by sweet blueberries, freshly squeezed blackberries, toffee and espresso, baking spices, and fine grained tannins. Built like a tank. Superb. β 6 years ago

Bright red fruit with Blackberry tart notes and oak dry finish. β 10 years ago
Outstanding Cab. Shows why 08 Cali cab is way more cellar worthy than 07. Blackberry, cassis, blueberry tootsie roll, if there is such a thing. Asian spice, cinnamon, nutmeg notes. Fine grained with excellent grip. Wish I had more β 10 years ago
Crisp smooth refreshing ! Absolute top notch taste. β 11 years ago
2011 vintage. $18 retail. Banging deal. β 12 years ago
Could use some more aging. More spice and more bold. Not as good as the 2010 β 12 years ago
