Another @SkimmerhornWine from Creston, BC the Devil's Chair. Great pairing of Pinot Noir and Marechal Foch. Should have bought a case of this one :) #yegwine — 11 years ago
The Hidden Cave Devils Lair Shiraz rocks! A drink now wine, I bought for dinner to have with slow cooked lamb. Quintessential red fruit, plum, raspberry followed by a hint of dark chocolate and peppercorns. Everyone devoured it and was only surpassed by the meal. I give it a 8 1/2 our of 10 — 12 years ago
Great sour favors, nice hop backend and very good tart flavor of the wood. Sour flavors of sour plums a slight cheese rind flavor a very low bitter back tone. A great dry beer to end my day. — 10 years ago

Best in Show at Vancouver Magazine's International Wine Competition. I tasted this wine at their gala Big Night event, paired with Dungeness crab in dashi custard and yuzu. Heavenly! — 12 years ago
Good beer, specially because I'm drinking with my best friend! — 10 years ago

60/40 Merlot-cab. Dense, dark and heavy, but velvet like the curtain on the Devil's theatre. Licorice, tobacco, black and blue berries, with a tart Kool-aid grapey-ness, that sounds cheap, but this is rib-stickingly tannic fruit sand slide stuff, and really just a symptom of drinking this wine young. I am unapologetic, I like precocious young wines. I drank the Kool-aid, and am now a believer. — 12 years ago

Always surprising freshness and weight, like slightly unripe Bosc pears commingling with dandelion greens. — 10 years ago
