Easy afternoon winter wine. Love the hints of dark chocolate! — 9 years ago
Whoa. Dark. Thick. Meaty. Pepper. Could use some time to soften these tannins, but that said, a wonderful wine. I haven't met a wine from Griffin's Lair that I didn't like and I'd say the same for Arnot-Roberts. — 9 years ago
If your looking for a good looking Pinot Noir look no further with spicy berry and cherry aromas, savoury flavours and velvety lingering palate this new vintage is absolutely fabulous. — 10 years ago
Tastes of yellow seed grass with hints of plastic. Fantastic! The flavour is beyond delectable. It just tickles my fancy like no other. It swims down your throat like a yellowfin tuna swimming downstream the St. Lawrence River. Sometimes i dream of this wine while watching the stars on my private island. — 11 years ago
Good citrus flavored white not too sweet -m — 11 years ago
Very easy drinking and smooth on the palate. — 11 years ago
Great sour favors, nice hop backend and very good tart flavor of the wood. Sour flavors of sour plums a slight cheese rind flavor a very low bitter back tone. A great dry beer to end my day. — 11 years ago
Dry sauv blanc nose, slight fruit finish — 12 years ago
I really dig this one. Sweet but balanced. Darker and bolder than expected but not disappointed — 9 years ago
This might literally be my favorite red. Had to remind myself it was wine and that I needed to sip and savor it. Notes of berries, dark chocolate...no oaky taste....just the right amount of sweet- and tartness. — 9 years ago
Having this one again and thoroughly enjoying it. Nice creaminess. Delicious with roast chicken. — 10 years ago
Wow. Just wow. Great Paso Syrah.....

Wow, what a treat. Every sip was different from the next and it just got better and better. — 11 years ago
Another @SkimmerhornWine from Creston, BC the Devil's Chair. Great pairing of Pinot Noir and Marechal Foch. Should have bought a case of this one :) #yegwine — 12 years ago
A Pinot closer to a Syrah. Smoky and interesting. Has actually matured nicely over the past year. — 12 years ago
Crisp white stoned fruit with a dry, bitting finish. — 13 years ago

Crisp lime tropical fruit with perfect minerality — 10 years ago
Its not setting the world alight but hard to ignore the quality. — 10 years ago
I hate it when people use Burgundian to describe New World wine. But damn if this isn't the most Burgundian Pinot I've ever had from California. Dominated by mineral and earth and structure, with beautiful, quiet, well delineated fruit. I'm down with @Pax Mahle's Syrah, and he's slowly convincing me that he knows something about Pinot, too. — 11 years ago
Cheapie from a good maker & a great region - went very well with eye fillet and chips at the Kingscliff Beach Hotel — 11 years ago
A devilishly good drop — 12 years ago
Nose was of dry grass, pear. Tasted of butter and strangely good memory of the Russian River on a very hot day. — 12 years ago
