Very nice once again, fine, elegant, fresh, lightly chiseled, the attack and middle of the palate is great and of the level of a GC, the finish has a slight sourness that prevents me from noting higher.
Encore un beau Moreau, frais, fin, ciselé et élégant surtout pour l’attaque et le millieu de bouche de niveau GC, la finale a un petit bemol avec des notes amers un peu agaçantes mais l’ensemble est très bien. 90-91

Slight floral hints, with a salinity to the discrete nose that we also find on the delicious and elegant palate, the wine has such nice acidity that is so well balanced with the pure, clean fruit and precise flavours. Gorgeous as always with wines made by Fabien Moreau.
Nez salin, marin voire, un petit peu floral. Une bouche avec une telle classe et finesse, superbe, minéral, élégant malgré cette tension appuyée mais tellement bien dosée. 92-93

Nice nose of red fruit, raspberry and a certain earthy and mineral side to the nose as well as the palate. The wine is medium bodied, nice tannins and that tart red fruit on the finish. Very nice Villages without being the most profound wine. 89-90 pts
Un nez de fruits rouges, framboises surtout, un peu minéral au nez comme en bouche, qui est assez fine avec ce petit fruit acidulé surtout en finale, des tannins assez approchable et un bel équilibre d’ensemble, par contre, rien de transcendant ou de bien profond mais agréable à boire. Un assez bon Chambolle Villages dans l’ensemble. 89-90 — 5 years ago

On s’ouvre un autre délicieux Chassagne Villages 2017 de Bernard Moreau. Toujours aussi savoureux. Un petit côté citronné et salin au nez, mais finement, avec une touche beurrée. La bouche est généreuse, charmante, une certaine rondeur avec une touche de richesse, mais aussi avec suffisamment de tension appuyée et qui donne du corps au vin tout en ayant une belle fraîcheur et une longueur fort appréciable, toute une réussite pour un Villages. 91-92
Once again another great bottle if this decently priced Chassagne Villages. Some lemon, touch of butter nd definitely a salinity on the nose and palate. A generous and chrming wine with some roundness and richness yet with enough acidity to make it a great balance, good length too, delicious simply and now my 4th bottle in the last year and they were all spot on. — 4 years ago
