Smells of plum and blackberries, thyme, and leather. Medium-high acid, medium body, high tannins. Bright cherry, juicy. Doesn't have the same heavy smokey quality that weighs fine many zinfandels. — 6 years ago
Wow! The nose on this is spectacular. Wild blueberries, spices, fresh walk in the woods, and flowers. The feel and flavor in the mouth are so great. More blueberries, herbs, spices with perfectly integrated tannins. A balance between bandol and new world. — 7 years ago
Medium lemon color, with medium intensity aromas of cut apple, lemon and straw. Medium-bodied, off-dry with high acidity and flavors of lemon, apple, pear and honey. A bit lacking in focus. Long finish. — 8 years ago

Shit is phucking RAD!!! @ryme @maglaab be proud, your wine is in a phenomenal phase. — 13 years ago
It’s a slightly sweeter version of an already awesome proper French Champagne. Dial back a smudge on the brut and just tweak the dial on a natural sweetness and viola! Nectar imperial! If you were giving someone their very first glass of champagne, I’d recommend this one - the sweetness will win a lot of tongues! — 5 years ago

Not a typical SanG. Nice fruity undertones. — 10 years ago
Medium body fruity wine. Great with spicy food. — 10 years ago
Purposely tried it without ice first. It was sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet, a good champagne. Once ice was added, it turned into a totally different champagne for me. It became less fruity and felt so refreshing. — 11 years ago
This is great! I finally found a wine to match my personality! — 5 years ago

A bit fleshier than previous vintages. The move to less new oak and less time in oak seems focus the wines here a bit, but the house style of nearly opulent dark fruit remains. — 5 years ago
