Mild with a dash of Rowanberry jam. Great aperitif. Dry. No lingering aftertaste. The Danes are to funny. They say " for any occasion and at any time throughout the day" — 9 years ago

Monkey 47 Dry Distiller Gin. Slightly hazy, water white, colourless. Pronounced intensity of perfume, juniper, lingonberry, violets, lavender, orange and grapefruit zest. With water added, more perfume and citrus notes to the fore. Dry on the palate. Warming alcohol, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity. Long finish. Very complex. Outstanding example of a premium gin. — 9 years ago

1988 vintage. Truly delightful. All the sweetness you expect with bags of complexity you don't. Beautiful undertones of almond and demerara. One for a big occasion. — 9 years ago

Not too sweet. Bravo. — 9 years ago
15year. At The Ledbury - paired with dessert. Aromas of Molasses, vanilla essence, vanilla cream, sweet spices, old oakwood. On the palette, medium plus body, quite warming, good length. Flavours of Demerara sugar, caramel and burned sugar, caramelised pineapple and vanilla sauce. Very good and excellent pairing with chocolate dessert. — 9 years ago
